This is a space I created for myself to write about different topics that I
find interesting. Sometimes, a Facebook post or Tweet may not be enough to
express the totality of one’s thoughts, and as much as life’s busy schedule
does not permit me to frequently air my opinions on social media, I have put up
this space for sharing, teaching, venting, and generally saying it the way I
see it. I do not like to take stances on sensitive topics and most of the topics
I choose to write about may just be an attempt to explain occurrences from my
own perspective. I currently live in the United States so I know that there
must be some kind of amendment that gives me the right to say that I choose NOT
to identify with any political group, religious group, hate group, and any
other group that solely promotes division. What the world needs now is LOVE. By
the way, if you do come across the amendment that gives me the right NOT to
identify with anything, please send me a copy.
One of the main reasons that immigrants in A merica find it difficult to watch American football is that the rules are not as simple as their regular soccer that most of the ones who have lived in Africa or other Spanish nations may be familiar with. Before migrating to America, I was mainly used to watching soccer. In Nigeria, soccer was quite a popular sport and had a considerable following, especially the English Premier League. Define loyalty that existed in Nigeria was very strong; in some cases, you would see many fans showing their commitment to En glish clubs while others would show their loyalty 2 Spanish or Italian clubs . I vividly remember this particular year, when Arsenal Football Club and Barcelona qualified for the Champions League final.
